Congratulations to Ariel Gordon who, in 2011, won the Aqua Books Lansdowne Poetry Prize for her collection Hump.

Congratulations to Elisabeh Harvor, whose book An Open Door in the Landscape, has been shortlisted for The Ottawa Book Awards.

Both Ariel Gordon and Elisabeth Harvor were longlisted for the 2011 ReLit Poetry Prize

Congratulations also to Cynthia Woodman Kerkham, whose poem "In Praise of Mushrooms" has been selected for this year's B.C. Poetry in Transit Program.

Rob Mclennan

rob mclennan is the author of ten poetry collections, including bagne, or Criteria for Heaven (Broken Jaw Press), Paper Hotel (Broken Jaw Press) and what's left (Talonbooks). The editor and publisher of above/ground press and the longpoem magazine STANZAS, he also edits the cauldron books series through Broken Jaw Press. Most recently, he edited the anthologies side/lines: a new Canadian poetics (Insomniac Press) and GROUNDSWELL: the best of above/ground press, 1993-2003 (Broken Jaw Press). He currently lives in Ottawa, where he co-ordinates the semi-annual Ottawa small press book fair through the small press action network - Ottawa (span-o) and co-edits www.poetics.ca. He is completing a novel, a collection of literary essays and various poetry manuscripts.
