Congratulations to Ariel Gordon who, in 2011, won the Aqua Books Lansdowne Poetry Prize for her collection Hump.

Congratulations to Elisabeh Harvor, whose book An Open Door in the Landscape, has been shortlisted for The Ottawa Book Awards.

Christian Bok

Christian Bök is an experimental sound poet, best known for holding the world record of the fastest rendition of Kurt Schwitters' "Ursonate". Eunoia (Coach House) won him the lucrative Griffin Poetry Prize in 2002. His other books include Crystallography (Coach House) and Pataphysics: The Poetics of an Imaginary Science (Northwestern University Press). As a conceptual artist, he has made books from Rubik’s cubes and Lego bricks. He has also worked in science-fiction television, designing artificial languages for Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict and Peter Benchley's Amazon. He is a Ph.D. graduate from York University, and as of 2005 he teaches at the University of Calgary.
