Andrea MacPherson currently acts as Reviews Editor for Event Magazine and teaches Creative Writing and English with University College of the Fraser Valley and Douglas College. Her other books include When She Was Electric (Raincoast), Beyond the Blue (Random House), and Away: Poems (Signature Editions). When She Was Electric was listed No. 6 on CBC Canada Reads: People’s Choice. She has travelled to Scotland, the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, France, Greece and Italy, and these journeys often serve as inspiration.
